FAST diet or SLOW diet, which is best for you?

Published by Eve Karat le

Fast and slow diets each have their strengths and limitations. Quick diets, such as detox or very low-calorie diets, promise dramatic weight loss in record time. This can be extremely motivating for those looking for immediate results. However, these diets can cause nutritional deficiencies and a yoyo effect, where lost weight is quickly regained. Furthermore, they are often unsustainable in the long term.

Conversely, slow diets, such as the Mediterranean or balanced diet, encourage gradual and lasting weight loss. They favor a rich and varied diet, beneficial for overall health. Their main disadvantage? Patience and perseverance required, as results manifest more slowly. For lasting success, slow, balanced diets are generally superior. The key is to choose the diet that aligns with your goals and lifestyle.
