Precautions and Warnings:

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use in case of high blood pressure. Consult a health care practitioner before consuming more than 300 mg of caffeine if you are of childbearing age, pregnant, or breastfeeding. It is not recommended to consume this product with natural health products (eg bitter orange extract, synephrine, octopamine, ephedra) which increase blood pressure.
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking lithium. It is not recommended to consume this product with other products that contain caffeine (medication, coffee, tea, colas, cocoa, guarana, mate). This product is not intended to replace sleep. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have liver trouble or if symptoms of liver trouble occur (such as abdominal pain, dark urine or jaundice). Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have an iron deficiency. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have an acute infection.

Contraindications:

If you are pregnant do not use this product. Do not use this product if you have high blood pressure.

Known side effects:

Taken in doses over 600 mg of caffeine, caffeine can cause anxiety, tachycardia (rapid heart rate), palpitations, insomnia, restlessness, nervousness, tremors and headaches. Hypersensitivity or allergy may occur. If so, discontinue use. If you suffer from liver trouble, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Discontinue use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble, such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, fatigue unusual and/or loss of appetite and consult a health care practitioner. Rare cases of unpredictable liver injury associated with products containing green tea extract have been observed (in Canada and elsewhere in the world).
