Keratin buildup on the skin's surface is removed with ingredients including papaya extract and subtilisin, reducing the repeated use of abrasive exfoliants.

Why a 2 in 1 cleansing gel?

Cleaning can also facilitate the desquamation process by mechanically dislodging the corneocytes. The 2 in 1 cleansing gel is designed to cleanse and exfoliate the skin. Keratin built up on the skin's surface is removed with ingredients including papaya extract and subtilisin, reducing the repeated use of abrasive exfoliants. How it works ? Subtilisin (serine endopeptidase), a proteolytic protein-enzyme that effectively breaks the chain of weakened desmosomes on the surface of the epidermis. By releasing these chains, the cells slough off the stratum corneum, which provides smooth skin on the surface and allows better penetration of the active ingredients contained in skin creams.

• Aqua, Sodium Lauryol Glutamate, Subtilisin, Quanterium-80, Glycerin, Peg-400, Leuconostoc (Radish Root Ferment Filtrate), EDTA, Papaya Extract, Rose Essential Oil, Xanthan Gum, Polyquaternium-51

Application/How to use:

• Cleansing: On a damp face, apply a pea-sized amount of gel and work in circular motions for about a minute. Rinse thoroughly with water and apply your favorite moisturizer.
• Exfoliation: Apply the gel to dry skin. Rub in circular motions all over face and neck for one minute. Rinse thoroughly with water and apply your favorite moisturizer.
• Eyelashes: Apply a small amount of gel between your thumb and index finger. Gently massage the eyelashes. Rinse thoroughly and let air dry. For best results, use a soft-bristled microbrush to clean between the lashes.
• Make-up removal: Apply the gel to dry skin. Rub in circular motions all over face and neck for one minute. Rinse thoroughly with water and apply your favorite moisturizer.

Precautions:

• Should be used every other day if skin is sensitive. For external use only. Avoid direct contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs, gently flush eyes with plenty of water.

Important information:

• When the 2 in 1 cleansing gel is mixed with water, the product takes on a milky color.
