ATP LAB - Vitamins D3K2 (D3K2)
The benefits of vitamin D are well known, such as its ability to regulate
immune functions and calcium absorption, but many are aware that it also needs to work synergistically with vitamin K2 to be effective. Vitamin K2 is not common in food except for some fermented foods. However, bacteria in our digestive system are able to synthesize vitamin K2 by converting vitamin K1 found in green leafy vegetables. For this conversion to be possible you need to have a healthy gut and eat a good amount of leafy green vegetables. Since few people meet these criteria, supplementation often becomes necessary.
Vitamin D3/K2 promotes:
Immune regulation, absorption of calcium in the bones, prevention of calcium accumulation in soft tissues, reduction of the risk of suffering from osteoporosis, better cardiovascular health, prevention of deficiencies associated with an increase in cancer risk, normal inflammatory response and muscle function.
