The electricity produced by the device, conveyed by a filament, generates thermal energy which cauterizes blood capillaries as well as skin lesions.

Electrolysis is a hair removal process where a certified electrologist inserts a filament into the hair bulb and transmits an electric current to it. This has the effect of causing the hair to fall out at the root, which hair is then removed with pliers. Electrolysis targets individual hairs.

Is electrolysis a painful treatment?

It may happen that the client feels a slight temporary discomfort. A crust may appear and remain for a few days, but will fall off without leaving a scar. Generally, a single session is enough to treat a skin tag.

Please note, however, that we do not perform this treatment around the eyes, that the skin tag must be peeled off from the skin like a pacifier and not stuck to the skin like a mole because in this case, this falls under dermatology. What is a skin tag?

A skin tag is a small, benign skin growth that is flesh-colored or sometimes pigmented.

It can appear anywhere on the body, but it is mainly found where the skin forms folds: eyelids, neck, armpits, groin and under the breasts.

It is safe and painless. Its appearance is of unknown origin, although it seems to be more frequently observed in overweight subjects, diabetics, pregnant women and adults over 40 years of age. Skin tags are harmless to your health and their treatment is strictly for cosmetic purposes.
